It’s been a few months since we introduced you to the new meeting scheduling features inside of Boomerang for Gmail. Along the way we’ve gotten some great feedback from you about how you schedule meetings and ways that we can make these features even better. Today we’re happy to let you know that now when you want to schedule a meeting over Zoom, Boomerang will automatically generate the link for you.
First things first — You’ll need to make sure that you have Boomerang installed.
Until now, if you wanted your meeting to happen over Zoom then you needed to manually create a Zoom conference for each meeting, or use your personal meeting ID for all of your meetings. You would then copy that meeting link and paste it into the location section. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked.
We made it work better.
You just need to make sure that you have your Zoom account connected to Boomerang. When you are setting up your meeting, select Zoom for the location and you’ll be up and running with just a couple of clicks.
Never fear. You can still paste your own link into the box if you have a specific meeting ID that you need to use. But for day to day meeting scheduling, the Zoom integration makes your life easier by removing a few steps from the process.
We’re also happy to announce that you can now find Boomerang inside of the Zoom App Marketplace. So if you have someone that you Zoom with frequently, tell them to look us up to make their meeting scheduling easier.
Thanks again for using Boomerang for Gmail. If you have questions, feedback, or concerns, we’d love to hear them.
